If you were at the church campout this weekend, you experienced all sorts of adventure including "smookies." A smookie is a smores made with chocolate chip cookies instead of graham crackers. A highly recommended sugar rush right before crashing after a fun-filled day. It was a great time and a perfect end to summer.

We're looking forward to gathering this Sunday and starting a new study in the gospel of Mark. Pastor JJ has titled this series "The Face of God" and he is so excited to dig into what God reveals about Himself in this text.

Wednesday nights are for prayer at the Bridge. We will be meeting from 6:30 - 8:00 to lift up our church family, our city and our world in prayer. God does amazing things in our hearts and our lives when we talk to Him. If you've never done anything like this before - we would love for you to join in and be blessed by the power of a praying group. You will not be called on or required to pray out loud. If you have any questions, feel free to respond to this email and we can respond further!

If you can't make it Wednesday nights we invite you to dedicate part of your evening to praying for our church and our community.

The Bridge will be helping organizations in Seattle with the imminent arrival of over 20,000 Afghan refuges. Please respond to this email if you are interested in being on the email list for ways you can help with this effort.
